PCI Compliance for Level 4 Merchants Using Dial Terminals

(Plugged into a standard phone line.)

Texas Small Business Services has found a low cost ($24.99) alternative for PCI Compliance.

This program has been developed for Cynergy Data and SignaPay merchants but may be used by any merchant/business** using a dial out terminal for credit card processing (plugged into a standard phone line). If you use the internet or electronically store credit card information email us for additional information (service@txbiz.net).

Follow these instructions and complete the required Self Assessment Questionnaire to receive a valid certificate of compliance.

Getting Started:

1. Go to the Security Metrics website: https://www.securitymetrics.com/validation_type.adp?acquirer=260
2. Check "No", you do not store credit card numbers, and then click on "Next".
3. Check "Dial Terminal", and then click on "Next".
4. Click on "Need to register".
5. Enter the information requested. Choose Texas Small Business Services from the “Merchant Processor” drop down list. Click "Submit".
6. Continue on from here completing each screen.
   You will need to have a credit card and your Merchant ID number handy.(Found on your statement)
7. The final screen will allow you to view and print your certificate.
8. If you are a TSBS customer, please fax or email the certificate to us and we will forward it to the processor.
9. **If you are not a TSBS customer call your current merchant processor first to see if they will waive their fee for a valid certificate.

Processor's Compliance Fee (SignaPay/Cynergy Data Merchants): 

1. The annual compliance fee is debited in June. Deadline:  The SecurityMetrics certificate must be provided by May 21^st  to prevent the compliance fee debit.  
2. If you have already been debited the processors compliance fee and have not registered for compliance through their program your fee may be refunded. Deadline: The Security Metrics certificate must be submitted to us prior to August 21^st , to receive reimbursement.
